To ensure a proper diagnosis, we always need to examine your pet. We begin a medical assessment with your help! We need as detailed of a history you can give us on your pets symptom. Once we get a general idea of how your pet has been acting we start looking at your pet’s eyes, ears, and skin and checking his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities.This physical exam is always performed even for a routine vaccination appointment. If any extra diagnostics are needed we will perform blood and/or urine tests as necessary to check your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands.
