With nearly half of the clinic’s square footage dedicated to large animals, the Mildmay Veterinary Clinic is proud to be able to offer you in clinic services most clinics cannot.
- Sterility
Offering surgeries to be performed in clinic, we can achieve a much greater level of sterility than in a barn. This greatly reduces the risk of post-operative infections. - Convenience
At the clinic, we have access to more emergency medications and supplies that might be needed during a surgery. We also are able to hospitalize sick calves; providing intravenous fluids, medications, and feedings. - Safety
In clinic we can be prepared for almost anything. Safety for both the animal and handler is extremely important. At the clinic we have sufficient and effective restraint mechanisms for cattle including holding pens, head gates, and strongly built and anchored pen walls. Ropes, halters, chains are stocked and pulley systems are installed. - Support
If a veterinarian needs a second set of hands, the rest of the staff is just a few steps away!
